Daily on an average there are 50 in house, 70-80 OPD and 10-15 day care patients in the children’s hospital.

KKF volunteers play a special role in the PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL by counseling the children, entertaining and educating them, counseling the children’s parents and helping them cope with the trying circumstances during the child’s treatment and recovery.

KKF undertakes activities to help afflicted children and their parents to utilize their time constructively:

KARUNA NAVNEET LIBRARY provides books for children and their parents during hospitalization.

KARUNA TOYS LIBRARY has a collection of toys for children aged 2 to 14 years. The collection includes educational and learning toys, electronic and battery operated toys, fun games, etc.

ENTERTAINMENT: Once in a week movies are screened for the child patients.

CELEBRATIONS: Festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Diwali and New Year and individual birthdays are celebrated by organizing various competitions and games and distributing gifts and snacks.

“PROTEIN PRO” PROGRAM: “Protein Pro” is a nutritious supplement for cancer patients.

The poor child patients cannot afford the costly protein supplements available in the market. This program aims to provide the needy patients with their daily need of adequate protein, minerals and vitamins in the natural formulation free of cost.
